Thank you so much for putting this website together. It is one of the most informative ones! It has helped me identify the type of button quails I have & the "Watch Me Grow" section has been very helpful with the chicks that I've just hatched.

Thank you for responding to my e mail. I hope that you will have some soon. We had button quail in California but when my government job brought me to Florida we had to give all our birds away. It was about 20 years ago. We had 2 silvers and offspring. Also, great web. Thank you. Dave

This was one of the single most informative sites on button quail I've found. I purchased eggs and hatched out 5 chicks (25%) for the first time, and they have been a constant source of entertainment. I LOVE the photos of the colors, especially the "watch me grow" sections. I think I've pretty much identified what colors mine will be at about 12 days old. Thanks again for all the great info!

Hi Charlene: I am very excited about the two female white doves you are rehoming to us. My one Tangerine boy is so lonely without the mate he lost. Thanks so much for having two lovely girls for him to choose from!

Hi, im new to raising silkies and i have a chick whose leg seems hurt. It is only 4 days old.Her left leg sprawls out and she doesnt run like the others. I put the bandaid brace like yours on her. Any tips on how long to leave it on? Thankyou very much for any time taken to reply to me. Thankyou Phil

Hatched our first babies with help from your site and some others. Thank you!

sara said:   July 14, 2011 3:12 pm PST
Thank you for letting us see your brooders for ideas. Our babies are doing great. We did a plastic tote just about exactly like yours. Love seeing the babies all sprawled out sleeping. Andrew had to wake them cause he didn't believe me that they were just sleeping. It was cute. The ducklings are messy and go thru so much water just like you said but are a hoot.

Hmmm i'm a newbie at this and you've educated me on different quails, i did not know that bobwhites, curtunix, and chukers were gamebirds, cause i have some. Also what class would the English white quail be. button or game? I have two males and i need a female.
